I MOMENTARILY TOUCHED ONE LEAD TO A POSITIVE POST ON A BATTERY,THE OTHER LEAD TO A GROUND,AND THE FAN MOTOR STARTED TURNING. MOTOR SPINS FREELY AND SEEMS SMOOTH.

OVERALL CONDITION AS FAR AS DENTS,CRACKS,ETC.,SEEMS GOOD. NEEDS

A COMPLETE CLEANING AND PAINTING.ONE ADJUSTMENT KNOB ON FRONT SHROUD IS MISSING.  I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT KNOB WAS FOR. AN OLD-TIMER TOLD ME THESE OFTEN BROKE OFF AND ARE FILLED AND PAINTED OVER. I DON'T KNOW.
