Vintage Sun Electric Driving Gage, Sun Electric Bat-O-Meter and Stewart Warner oil pressure gauge. Driving Gage, which is just a vacuum gauge, does work when I applied vacuum to it. Don't know about the Bat-O-Gage or the oil pressure gauge but the engine in the 62 Willys Jeep Wagon they came from was seized so I'm only assuming they work also. See no reason why they wouldn't, they're Sun after all. Would look great in an old Willys Wagon or Pickup truck or in your vintage rat rod or cruiser. The chrome is partially worn off the face of the Bat-O-Meter but the brass under the plating is still there and gives it as great patina.

Kia uses wind power to lower emissions and boost economy

Wed, 01 Apr 2009

Kia's new Aero-Soul concept utilises wind power to lower emissions and boost economy [ad#ad-1] In a dramatic, and very cost effective manner, Kia has revealed the new Aero-Soul concept, which aims to drastically reduce Co2 emissions and improve economy by harnessing the power of the wind, in a low-cost solution called Air Propulsion and Retardation Installation Line. In simple terms, the A.P.R.I.L system uses small sensors built in to the front and rear of the car to monitor wind forces, and deploys wind chutes at the front or rear of the car to aid in braking or forward propulsion. So at cruising speeds if the wind behind the car is strong – such as in winter gales – the panels will harness wind power to provide forward motion.

Tue, 02 Mar 2010

Kia has revealed the 2010 Sportage at Geneva As with many of the reveals we’re getting at Geneva, we’ve already told you to expect the car in previous reports. We reported a month ago that Kia’s version of the Hyundai ix35 – the Kia Sportage – would bow in at Geneva, but we had precious little detail beyond a couple of photos. Well, Kia have made up for that with one of the longest press releases in a while on the new Sportage.
