These are a pair of vintage lap belts from about 50 years ago. This type of belt does not have two parts that latch together. Instead the webbing is fed through the bucket and the buckle cinches down on the webbing restricting it movement. There is no body attachment hardware with these belts, but that should be readily attainable. These were made by Rupert Parachute Co. in Wheeling,Illinois.
The belts are in reasonable good condition for their age. There is minor pitting on the chrome latch and one of the belts has some slight fraying on one edge. The belts themselves could be cleaned or replaced, if desired. |

The eco SLS will have an electric motor powering each wheel, producing a total of 526bhp. Needless to say, for now it remains an engineering prototype – but a spokeswoman told CAR that Mercedes was intent on putting it into production.
