This Grapevine glass lamp assembly was found on a large number of Shasta travel trailers out of the 50's & 60's in both the kitchen and dining room. Globe is mint with chrome show surface being very nice. The chain pull lamp socket is brand new. Grounded plug in good working condition. This is a very complete working assembly in good condition. Child car smoking ban moves closer
Thu, 30 Jan 2014A BAN ON SMOKING in cars with children present has moved a step closer after peers inflicted a defeat on the Government in the House of Lords. Campaigners welcomed the result of the Lords vote, claiming a ban would protect half-a-million children who were exposed to second-hand smoke in cars every week. Although the successful Labour amendment to the Children and Families Bill does not directly ban smoking in cars with children in them, it backs the principle of making it an offence.

Ford Escort set for Beijing motor show debut
Wed, 16 Apr 2014Ford is set to unveil a production version of the Escort sedan at the China auto show this month in Beijing, meant exclusively for the Chinese market. The Escort was previewed in near-production concept form last year at the Shanghai motor show, and is meant to take on competitors positioned just above the Ford Focus sedan. Even though the Ford Escort has been absent from the automaker's global lineup since 2000, Ford of China is reviving the nameplate for this sub-Fusion/Mondeo model which will compete with cars such as the Volkswagen Sagitar and Chevrolet Cruze in the Chinese market.
