1930's Turning Indicator Light. Made by "TURNSIGNAL" This is ready for the long run, I glass beaded and repainted. I polished the molded Lucite lenses, cut a new gasket and replaced the broken GLASS support lens behind them, rewired and installed new Sylvania Longlife 12 volt bulbs. You can see on the lower back is some very light surface pitting under the paint, I kept it honest and besides it's on the back. Very nice, bright, indicator light. Not over restored, single coat of black just like original, a good solid light that will give good service. 7 1/2 inches wide, 2 inches tall an 1 3/4 inches deep.

Big Spenders Flock To Bohnams Festival Of Speed Auction

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

GOODWOOD’S Festival of Speed might be famous for the action on its famous hill, but there’s more to the self proclaimed ‘world's largest motoring garden’ than just the racing. And just to prove the point, this year the annual Bonhams sale earned a staggering £22.6 million on the Friday of the event. The star attraction was a 1954 Ferrari 375-Plus, as used in iconic road races such as the Mille Miglia, Targa Florio and Carrera Panamericana, which sold for £10.7 million following a fierce battle between bidders.

Ford reveals S-Max concept ahead of 2013 Frankfurt motor show

Thu, 29 Aug 2013

Here's another one that'll probably go straight into the “not bound for United States shores” file: the Ford S-Max concept, which will make its grand debut at the 2013 Frankfurt motor show. Ford says the S-Max previews a “future sport activity vehicle,” which may, in fact, be contemporary PR-speak for “mini-minivan.” Look beyond the carbon-fiber interior detailing (and add some door handles) and you'll see a vehicle that looks more or less production-ready. The S-Max concept isn't too wildly sculpted, sharing styling cues with current Fords (including the Fiesta, Escape/Kuga, C-Max and Fusion/Mondeo) -- from the creases on the hood to the high, hexagonal grille to the stainless steel trim surrounding the greenhouse.
