Infiniti at the Paris motor show 2008
Thu, 02 Oct 2008By Ben Pulman Motor Shows 02 October 2008 09:35 Infiniti kicked off its Mondial de l'Automobile on the eve of the show by opening its Parisian dealership, the brand's first showroom in Western Europe. Sales started in Russia in 2006, but this was our first taste of how Nissan is going to scale Fortress Premium. On the Avenue de Versailles, in an understated (and perhaps – whisper it – sterile bland) showroom and slap-bang next to a BMW dealer, executive vice president of Nissan Carlos Tavares outlined Infiniti’s ambitious expansion plans and confirmed new models for Europe. The range starts with the G37, which comes as a 3-series rival in saloon and coupe form, and our first drive of the latter confirmed it as a credible BMW rival.
Audi S8 tuned to 640 hp by ABT Sportsline
Fri, 09 May 2014Volkswagen Group tuning house ABT Sportsline debuted its latest version of Audi's flagship luxury-sport sedan, the Audi S8. The already quick sedan has received a facelift for the 2015 model year, as revealed a few months ago at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, and it didn't take ABT Sportsline long to get their hands on the latest version. While Audi's changes to the exterior have been relatively mild, with restyled front and rear bumpers and a slightly redesigned grille, the tuning house once again focused on changes under the hood.
Dodge Demon unveiled
Thu, 08 Mar 2007By Tim Pollard Motor Shows 08 March 2007 08:15 Another motor show, another demonic Dodge That’s about the sum of it. Dodge has unleashed a tirade a different concept cars at recent motor shows and Geneva was no different. The evil-named Demon emerged from a cloud of dry ice amidst lightning-strike strobe effects - quite befitting for a company in the clutches of a possible fire sale.
