We are selling a Used BOSCH 019 Mechanical Advance, SPECIAL Blue Body, SCREAMER version, Distributor! Cast Iron Housing Distributor. BOSCH # 0-231-129-019/JFR 4 is the part number. Sold as is. Good distributor for Restoration. Missing the cap and rotor and one clip for cap. Made in Germany!  Fun old school speed distributor.

Fits all air cooled Volkswagens 6 & 12 volt! Probably will work in some 356 also.

This distributor turns over but is tight, and no shaft play felt. Clean, lube and free up, install new parts, and install in your motor.

VW planning to sell 2 versions of Polo compact in U.S.

Volkswagen plans to sell two versions of its Polo compact car in the United States: a sedan smaller than the current Jetta and a four-door hatchback roomier than the one shown this month at the Geneva auto show. Both versions would be designed especially for the United States, said Volkswagen Group of America CEO Stefan Jacoby. Sales could start in 2011, he said.

Swinton Insurance claim quote requests for bigger cars are down 20% Swinton say that it has seen an increase of 25% in quote requests for smaller engined cars in the last six months and a decrease of 20% in car insurance quotes for cars over 1.8 litres (which, short of the big-engined cars being scrapped begs the question: What’s happened to the big-engined cars? Did they just disappear, or are they just not being insured?). But this got us thinking.
