Is Lamborghini’s ‘Super Sports Car’ a road-going Gallardo Super Trofeo?

Lamborghini teased a new ‘Super Sports Car’ for Frankfurt last week, and we mulled over the possibilities of what Lamborghini were going to reveal. But what we didn’t consider was a last-hurrah for the Gallardo in the form of the Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo. We speculated that Lamborghini may be taking a production version of the Sesto Elemento to Frankfurt.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupé

As initially reported, Mercedes-Benz will reveal its replacement for the aging CLK coupe at the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show. Called the E-Class Coupé, the new two-door has a distinctly sportier overall aesthetic than the sedan it's based on and the model it replaces. The front face is virtually identical to that of the sedan, but the rhomboid-shaped headlamps have more incisive contours for a more dynamic look.

This is the Vauxhall Astra GTC, Luton's new three-door rival for the Renault Megane and VW Scirocco. It's an important car for GM, expected to take up to 20% of all Astra orders, and the UK is traditionally the biggest market in Europe for the three-door Astra. The only exterior features shared with the five-door are the door handles and aerial on the roof.
