You are bidding on a vintage Vacturi Outboard engine racing carburetor. The carb was taken off a Johnson opposed twin circa 1930's used for racing (motor broke a rod). There are no cracks in the carb or the velocity stack but it could use a good soaking in carb cleaner. |

Volkswagen Concept A
Mon, 06 Feb 2006Volkswagen has revealed its latest design study, the Concept A, a crossover between sports car and SUV. Like the conceptually similar Concept T of 2004, the Concept A is based on the Golf platform, marrying coupe-like profile with raised stance. At the front, vertical vents flank the shield-grille, whose matt-silver finish is repeated on the A-posts and door-handles.

It’s probably a bit of a stretch to call what Vauxhall has done to the Astra Hatch and Astra Sport Tourer a facelift, but it’s enough of a tweak for those who’ve just bought a new Astra to be less than thrilled. The main changes to the hatch and estate are a new grill, new indicators and new fog lights; a minor rhinoplasty.
