Vintage Vdo 120 Mph Speedometer German Made Car,motorcycle ? ? on 2040-parts.com
Leawood, Kansas, US
Very nice working Vintage VDO 120MPH speedometer. Had been used on a Motorcycle, but I believe that it is actually for a car based on it's mounting style. It is about 3 5/16" across the bezel, and only has 627 miles recorded on it. Has the reset on the odometer on the lower right. Numbers on back are W 1.8 20/109/5. I could not find any model information using those numbers. You will have to be the expert on application and interchange. Thanks for looking! I try to be
absolutely accurate in all my listings, but I am not an expert in all
things. My photos should be considered an extension of the written
description. It is always incumbent on the buyer to be able to
accurately assess the item, the accuracy of my description, and it's
applicability to their needs before bidding. All used items are sold "as
is." BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE: * I no longer will sell to Shop Airlines America. *Shipping
price shown in the listing is for US shipping only. All overseas
shipping will be higher and will be quoted at the end of the auction via
invoice. *There will be a 3.00 customs documentation charge included in the shipping Invoice for all Foreign shipments. * Once delivered to and accepted by the U.S. Postal authorities, I am not responsible for shipping loss. *
UK buyers note: Due to recent shipping problems with International
First class mail, ALL shipping to the UK will be via PRIORITY Mail
regardless of weight, as it has a higher level of trackability. *By bidding, you agree to the above conditions.

BMW 328 Hommage (2011) revealed at Villa d'Este
Mon, 23 May 2011This is the BMW 328 Hommage, a concept car which made its debut at the 2011 Villa d'Este Concours. The BMW 328 Hommage has been created to celebrate the 75th anniversary of BMW's 328 sports car, which was one of the featured classic cars at the Villa d'Este Concours. BMW 328 Hommage: Where have I seen that shape before? I assume you're talking about the general shape of the car, rather than the buck-toothed rabbit look of the front-end graphic. While the BMW 328 Hommage is festooned with modern reinterpretations of such classic 328 competition car hallmarks as leather bonnet straps, bodyside recesses in lieu of doors, aero screens, and 'pepper-pot' alloy wheels, the overall shape has more in common with BMW's 2011 Geneva show car, the Vision Connected Drive. The 328 Hommage is a far less direct descendant of the original BMW 328 than the M1 Hommage was to the original M1, or the 2006 BMW Mille Miglia Concept was to the original 328 Mille Miglia coupe. BMW 328 Hommage: High-tech meets olde-worlde BMW is using the 328 Hommage as the latest demonstration of its research into carbonfibre construction.
The most exclusive Mercedes-Benz G-class is this stretched BINZ
Fri, 20 Sep 2013If you thought the G63 AMG was the meanest and most exclusive version of the Mercedes-Benz G-class that you could buy today, you haven't seen the version that Mercedes-Benz coachbuilder BINZ GmbH has been making for more than two decades. That's right, the smug owners of those G63 AMGs you see parked in front of trendy restaurants downtown do not, in fact, possess the coolest version of the long-running G-class. BINZ is known in other markets as the maker of Mercedes-Benz limousines and ambulances, but their wares are almost entirely unknown in the western hemisphere.
Build the C-class in Alabama? Mercedes will decide by January
Fri, 13 Nov 2009Daimler AG will decide by January whether to shift some C-class passenger-car production to its U.S. factory in Vance, Ala. “It's no secret that a decision for the new C-class has to be made in the near future,” and that includes expansion of production, Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche said Thursday during a briefing with journalists.
