UP AUCTION HERE IS A REBUILT VINTAGE VERTEX MAGNETO (rebuild by Don Zig) FOR A FORD 352-428FE.

I purchased this used magneto several years ago (2007) and sent it off to Zig (see invoices for parts and repairs in pictures). He recommended pretty much a complete rebuild and I gave him the go ahead. He also put 24 deg of advance in it. I put a lot of money into this to run on my 68’ 428FE that I was going to build and use in my 67’ Howard Flat Bottom. Unfortunately, the build stalled due to various reasons and I cannot complete the build.

Service performed by Zig Magnetos:

Magneto service included points, base replacement (re-manufactured), new cap, high energy coil, .410 condenser & holder, oil wiper, ground post kit, ball bearing breaker, cam, rotor with lock, flash guard, wires, safety pin......

This mag was only used for a couple hours to tune in an FE motor. It has been wrapped and stored ever since. This mag is in great condition! It comes with the 8mm Taylor Pro Wires you see in the pictures. Since this Mag has been shelved for a number of years a basic service might be a good idea (usually around $75). I guarantee this Mag to be in the stated condition.
