UP AUCTION HERE IS A REBUILT VINTAGE VERTEX MAGNETO (rebuild by Don Zig) FOR A FORD 352-428FE. I purchased this used magneto several years ago (2007) and sent it off to Zig (see invoices for parts and repairs in pictures). He recommended pretty much a complete rebuild and I gave him the go ahead. He also put 24 deg of advance in it. I put a lot of money into this to run on my 68’ 428FE that I was going to build and use in my 67’ Howard Flat Bottom. Unfortunately, the build stalled due to various reasons and I cannot complete the build. Service performed by Zig Magnetos: Magneto service included points, base replacement (re-manufactured), new cap, high energy coil, .410 condenser & holder, oil wiper, ground post kit, ball bearing breaker, cam, rotor with lock, flash guard, wires, safety pin...... This mag was only used for a couple hours to tune in an FE motor. It has been wrapped and stored ever since. This mag is in great condition! It comes with the 8mm Taylor Pro Wires you see in the pictures. Since this Mag has been shelved for a number of years a basic service might be a good idea (usually around $75). I guarantee this Mag to be in the stated condition. Please be sure to ask any questions and verify fit prior to bid as I will only accept returns if the above item is not as described. Mini launches 'Inspired by Goodwood'

Audi tracks down the last Horch
Fri, 27 Nov 2009The last Horch built, found in the middle of Texas It’s been looking likely for a while that now VW has taken control of Porsche it may decide to rebrand the VW Group as Auto Union. Auto Union was the root of Audi, and was formed in the ’30s when Audi, Horch, DKW and Wanderer joined forces to become Auto Union and pool their resources to cope with the depression (sound familiar?). Which might explain why Audi has been scouring the planet for rare cars from its Auto Union days.
Megane Renaultsport 275 Trophy revealed
Wed, 14 May 2014Meet the hottest Renaultsport Megane ever – the Megane Renaultsport 275 Trophy, which Renault hopes will eat the SEAT Leon Cupra for breakfast around the infamous Nurburgring test track. Packing, you guessed it, 275hp, the 275 Trophy has an extra 10hp over the standard Megane Renaultsport. Exact performance figures are still to be confirmed but Renault tells us the Trophy will return 37.7mpg, with peak power from its twin-turbocharged engine coming at 5,500rpm.
