This is a Volvo Penta BB70 B16 4 cylinder motor as pictured. Came out of a 1960 freshwater boat with 684 hours on meter (vintage hobbs that is still operational). Fluids came out clean and moisture free. Motor was well protected in boat, there was a rear cover that went from port to stbd and a clamshell cover over the front - all fiberglass. I ran a compression test and even though it hasn't been run in several years all cylinders were in the 117 to 122 pound range - my gauge - 3500ft - should run. Comes as pictured with; starter (works good), Flywheel (no damage seen), alternator (not tested but turning freely), Oil cooler (assumed to be good - no water in oil), and fuel pump (may not be good - found electric fuel pump in boat). Shipping is Freight - $195 - domestically. Questions welcomed - thanks for looking - Greg

McLaren P1 tests in Arctic, MP4-12C at drag strip

Tue, 30 Apr 2013

McLaren has produced less than a handful of road cars in its 50-year existence, and they've all been hits. The company currently sells two cars for the street: the P1 and the MP4-12C, and they both require the “super” moniker. The McLaren P1 made its debut at the Paris motor show in September, and has been the subject of many analyses ever since.

The MP4-12C follows the McLaren F1 (1993-1998) and the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren (2003-2009). McLaren Automotive says the MP4-12C is the first in a line of new sports cars it will produce, but won't say when or how many more will come.

BMW 4-Series Coupe concept [w/Gallery]

Wed, 05 Dec 2012

The BMW 4 Series Coupe concept will make its debut at next month's NAIAS in Detroit, when it will become the first model to wear the new 4er badge as it distances itself from the 3 Series sedan. While billed as a concept it is believed to be virtually production-ready. It offers little in the way of surprises in the wake of the F10 3 Series and larger 6 Series with traditional short front and long rear overhang proportions.
