Renault Dezir concept (2010) first official pictures
Mon, 05 Jul 2010These are the first pictures of the Renault Dezir, a sporty Clio-sized electric concept set to be unveiled at the Paris motor show in September 2010. This is the first car produced under the watch of new design director Laurens van den Acker, who's charged with reinvigorating the Renault range after Patrick le Quement's departure. The Dezir concept car heralds a new design language for Renault, which has seen the small car market become increasingly chic (think Citroen DS3) yet it's soldiered on with just the Clio and, now, the Wind Roadster.
Volkswagen Beetle (2011) first official pictures
Mon, 18 Apr 2011After 11 long years on sale the New Beetle is dead – its successor is this, The Beetle. We'll just call it the new 2011 VW Beetle. 2011 VW Beetle: trading flower-power for outlaw rodder Wider, lower and longer, the 2011 Beetle abandons its predecessors three semi-circle styling for the flat-roof look of 2005’s hot rod-inspired Ragster concept. At the front, the Beetle adopts the corporate horizontal intake styling and a more angular front bumper melded with a less curvaceous evolution of the 1998 New Beetle styling template.
Rolls Royce Ghost spotted at Dover
Sun, 17 May 2009A virtually uncamouflaged Rolls Royce Ghost caught waiting for a ferry at Dover We’ve seen the Rolls Royce Ghost (formerly known as the RR4 or EX200) out testing in various states of camouflage over the last few months. Finally, at the Geneva Motor Show, we got a proper look at the Ghost, and then, in April, Rolls Royce decided to tell us what we already knew back in February, that it was to be known as the Rolls Royce Ghost, to make a brace of ethereal model names for Rolls Royce, along with the Phantom. So with Rolls Royce seemingly on target to launch the Rolls Royce Ghost as a production-ready car at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, they are busy testing the Ghost in Europe, and our snappers caught this virtually uncamouflaged Ghost patiently waiting to catch a ferry at Dover to sail to Calais.
