Weston model 354 dash mount -30 to +30ammeter gauge. Nickle plated brass case fits 2 1/8" hole. Works fine. Serial
number stamped on the face, 1313224. It appears to have been made in the 1920's. For many early car,
truck and motorcycle applications. Nice enough for most vehicles. The body is brass and has stress cracks as shown in photos. Bezel snaps in place over main body. Clamp and nuts included. Nice gage.

Marc Girard appointed head of Interior Design at BMW Cars
Wed, 01 Apr 2009Marc Girard starts his new job as head of the Interior Design department at BMW Automobiles today, taking over the post previously held by Michael Ninic who died unexpectedly last year. His appointment also alleviates some of the pressure put on Adrian van Hooydonk, who has effectively been managing both exterior and interior design departments for BMW Cars as well as acclimatizing to his new role as design director of the BMW Group following Chris Bangle's departure last month. A BMW Group designer for the last 15 years, French-born Girard was most recently team leader for Interior Design at BMW Automobiles, having been promoted from the position of head of interior design at MINI - a role he filled from 2004 to 2006.

Volvo XC60 R-Design revealed
Tue, 07 Jul 2009Volvo has released details of an R-Design version of the XC60 Still, more power isn’t everyone’s cup of tea – particularly at the moment – but many buyers like a bit of ‘butchness’ in their cars. And to be completely fair to Volvo, although they haven’t messed with the oily bits for more oomph, they have played with the suspension for more feel. Volvo say the XC60 has improved steering (thanks to ‘Direct Steering Gear’), stiffer damping and a more robust chassis.
