Up for sale two Vintage wheel works V 48 17" by 9" wheels. These have the standard 5 inch back space and will fit 1968 through 70s mustangs and other period fords. I modified my rear suspension and need to order different rear wheels. They have less than 100 miles. They are $429 each new. They are in very good shape and have no curd damage or marks. (See wheel specs below.) Vintage Wheel works V 48 17" x 9" is a two-piece wheel. It has 8 rounded spokes. It has a media-blasted center and spoke area and polished outer barrel. The center disc is manufactured from virgin 356 aluminum ingots and heat-treated to a T6 factor. The outer barrel is made from spun 6061 sheet aluminum and has a fully polished front surface. Its formerly untouchable reputation for producing bullet-proof cars has been severely damaged by the ‘ThottleGate’ problems, with more damage to Toyota’s reputation being caused by their failure to address a problem they seemed to be all too aware of, rather than the problem itself causing the damage.
