Up for bid is a very beautiful vintage pair of nickel plated brass windshield wing nuts. The wings measure
1 3/4" across in diameter. The threads measure 5/16" across with 24 threads per inch.
Application: These should fit many cars. Just make sure the thread size is right for your car. Please do your own research.
Condition: These are in good condition. They have some surface finish loss, some small dings, and small scratches. That said, they are brass so are quite solid. The threads look great! Replate for show quality.

'Make electric cars loud and safer'
Wed, 30 Oct 2013ELECTRIC AND HYBRID cars should be made louder to protect people with eyesight problems, an MP and charities have urged. Mary Glindon (North Tyneside) said the Government should first ensure the vehicles are safe for all road users after pledging millions of pounds in subsidies for the ultra-low emissions market. She believes sound generators should be fitted to the vehicles to ensure visually-impaired (VI) pedestrians are aware of them.

VW Design Vision GTI gets 500bhp: Worthersee
Wed, 08 May 2013The Design Vision GTI is built to show what a Golf built for racing would look like – and perhaps point to future evolutions of VW’s most successful car – and is built on the same MQB platform as the regular GTI. It’s a bit shorter (15mm) than a regular Golf, a chunk wider (71mm) and a lot lower (57mm) which conspires to make the Design Vision GTI much more aggressive looking than its mainstream sibling. Power comes from a 3.0 litre V6 with two turbos – good for 500bhp and 413lb/ft of torque – which is driven to all four wheels through a DSG ‘box and can scoot to 62mph in a supercar-like 3.9 seconds on its way to 186mph.
