Vintage XL Ironhead Ignition Switch Cover (OEM 1967-71 XLH & 70-71 XLCH)
OEM switch cover!
We've seen NOS versions of this cover, and we've compared this example to our shop photos, and all the features are correct, including tab style and housing shape. Also, the construction is excellent from sturdy stock, not cheap material, and the plating is high-quality, not "thin," so to our observation, everything looks "correct" for an OEM cover. We are only noting light normal wear for this vintage. Finish is otherwise bright and clean.
We recommend simple polishing, using a good chrome polish compound and polishing wheel; A great piece, vintage specific, corresponding to OEM #71510-67.
