Jalopnik and Drive host 'Livesketching with J Mays'

Ford's Chief Creative Officer, J. Mays is the subject of a 'Livesketching' interactive video, co-hosted by Drive on YouTube and Jalopnik. The Q&A, presented by designer Jason Torchinsky (himself no slouch with a Sharpie and a flip chart), gave the rare opportunity to quiz the creator of the Audi Avus concept, modern VW Beetle and Mustang and one of the major influencers behind Ford's design strategy.

Redesigned 2012 Toyota Yaris starts at $14,875; Sequoia, Tundra and Sienna prices up slightly

The base price of the redesigned Toyota Yaris small car starts at about $1,000 more than the current car. Meanwhile, prices are only slightly changed for the 2012 Toyota Sequoia, Tundra and Sienna models. 2014 Corvette Stingray sales start limited to 900 Chevy dealers

When the redesigned 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray begins rolling off the assembly line in Bowling Green, Ky., in late summer, only about 900 of Chevrolet's 3,000-plus dealers will get cars. Last week, General Motors confirmed to Chevy dealers which ones had qualified to sell the Stingray at launch. Those dealerships can begin ordering the car in the next few weeks.
