Porsche 911 (2011) the leaked images of the 991
Thu, 18 Aug 2011This is the new Porsche 911, and these images have been leaked ahead of the car’s official debut at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show in September. This Porsche 911 actually looks a little different to the current rear-engined icon… Codenamed 991, the new 911 is all-new, and while the silhouette is instantly recognisable (and we’d swear those doors are identical) the bow and stern are obviously altered. It’s the rear that’s changed the most, with ultra-slim LED lights and a much wider but more neatly integrated pop-up rear spoiler.
Chevrolet Camaro debuts at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show
Wed, 11 Sep 2013The Chevrolet Camaro is a bargain-priced coupe and convertible that has made minimal impact in Europe since the introduction of this fifth generation model back in 2010. The firm is hoping a new boss and thus a newfound focus for Chevrolet Europe will help it capitalise on the launch of a facelifted Camaro, which receives its European debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Jaguar readying SUV for Frankfurt motor show
Wed, 31 Jul 2013While the next new Jaguar model slated for dealerships is a BMW 3-series fighter rumored to be called the XS, Autoweek sources have confirmed the company will also be showing an SUV at the Frankfurt motor show in September. Likely to be named XQ or Q-type, the Jaguar SUV is expected to ride on a version of the XS platform (itself a variation on the aluminum XJ architecture) rather than share a platform with a Land Rover product. Slated for 2016 production, the new Jaguar XQ SUV will share some powertrain technology with Land Rover, specifically the Ford I-4 engines from the Evoque.
