Nissan Pulsar price and spec announced

Want a Volkswagen Golf-sized hatchback sporting a Nissan badge? Well, you’ll be able to from this autumn, as the company launches its first mid-sized hatchback since the Almera. The Nissan Pulsar will be the first typical family hatchback from Nissan since it took the brave move to launch the Qashqai in 2007 – and it will cost from a reasonable £15,995.

There is new footage of Ferraris on set and with big-name actors, as part of the company's 60th anniversary celebrations. The exhibition at the Galleria museum in Maranello runs until 30 June.

Magna gets Vauxhall and Opel

Canadian parts maker Magna takes control of Opel and Vauxhall The German Government is to supply funding of €1.5 billion to help the new Opel/Vauxhall operation to finance the transition. The news hasn’t come a moment too soon, as the US Government had given GM only until Monday to resolve the issue before the likely bankruptcy of GM. The Opel/Vauxhall operation will now be ring-fenced from the insolvency of its former parent in the US and will become ana entity in its own right.
