Wired for Speed: Enthusiasts turn to parts sites for aftermarket punch at affordable prices

You can get anything--literally anything--on the Internet. And for enthusiasts, this means that rare part is just a little bit easier to find. Ebay Motors says its listings of parts has increased dramatically in the last year, with inventory reaching about 13.9 million parts.

Fiat and Chrysler get in to bed together

Before Christmas the CEO of Fiat was reported as saying that he believed that the current malaise in the car market (and any other market, for that matter) would result in the rationalisation of the industry, and see just a handful of big players come out the other side. His words now seem prescient, as it has been announced today that Fiat and Chrysler have effectively entered in to a partnership. Fiat takes a 35% stake in Chrysler The partnership, with Fiat taking 35% of Chrysler, means a number of benefits for both companies.

Infiniti Emerg-E concept

Infiniti's third recent concept car, the Emerg-E, will debut at the Geneva motor show next week. Following the Essence of 2009 and last year's Etherea, the Emerg-E is the brand's first mid-engined car design. While the proportions of all three cars are very different (thanks to the Essence's front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout and the front-engined, front-wheel drive Etherea), their form language is shared.
