Pontiac G8 may get a second life as the Chevrolet Caprice, Lutz says

The Pontiac G8 may get a new life as the Chevrolet Caprice. General Motors is studying the feasibility of reusing the rear-wheel-drive performance sedan for law enforcement and the general public, vice chairman Bob Lutz said in an online chat Monday. “The G8 has finally been discovered by a broader percentage of the buying public,” Lutz said on GM's FastLane blog.

Chrysler's limited-edition 2013 Dodge Dart Mopar '13 is set to arrive in dealerships this summer with a $26,480 price tag after shipping charges. Chrysler revealed the special-edition Dart at the Chicago auto show in February, marking the fourth special-edition Mopar vehicle since 2009. Trains cancelled over broken-down taxi

TRAINS were cancelled after a taxi carrying the ticket conductors broke down on the way to the station - and health and safety policy bans them walking. London Midland yesterday told passengers it was cancelling two of its services from Birmingham New Street station in the city centre after the breakdown happened during what is usually a short journey by foot from nearby Snow Hill station. However, the rail operator has said its own safety policy bars the uniformed conductors from getting to the station on foot because they are carrying their ticket machines and cash from the days' takings.
