2014 Chevrolet Reaper bumps Silverado to 550 hp
Mon, 27 Jan 2014It was only a matter of time before a Chevy Silverado decided to give the Ford Raptor a run for its money, in this case via noted tuner John Lingenfelter. The 2014 Reaper is the result of a conversion kit that takes an average Silverado -- already a good truck -- and puts it on steroids, so to speak.
Top Gear in Italy with Aventador, McLaren MP4-12C & Noble M600 + video
Tue, 08 Nov 2011Top Gear in Lecce filming a supercar piece We already know that Top Gear’s Christmas Special is in India this year, so the video showing the Top Gear team filming in Lecce, Italy, with the Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren MP4-12C and Noble M600 must be for the new series of Top Gear, which kicks off on January 12th 2012. Lecce is an historic Italian city in the south east of Italy, full of Baroque architecture, tracing its history back to the Greeks and is probably most famous for its ‘Lecce Stone’, a soft and malleable limestone ideal for sculpting. None of which really matters to Messrs Clarkson, Hammond and May, although it does provide a stunning backdrop for an equally stunning set of supercars.
Volkswagen to enter F1?
Sun, 11 Oct 2009VW already competes in Formula Three But we’re hearing reports that VW is considering going in to Formula 1 which – with manufacturer teams leaving willy-nilly – does perhaps seem a bit odd. And VW has no F1 history to speak of. Yes, Auto Union did participate in Grands Prix pre-war, Porsche had a very minor bash decades ago and Lamborghini has offered up a few engines for other teams.
