Volkswagen Beetle - Thing Dual Port Engine Am022474 on 2040-parts.com
Canfield, Ohio, United States
This is a used Volkswagen Beetle - Thing Dual Port Engine AM022474. Engine was taken from a 1973 rusted out Thing with 44,545 miles showing. Engine has been ground tested and runs very well. Has NO end play. The sheet metal is pretty well shot as shown in the pictures but all that counts for the running engine is there and it would make a great rebuilt or even daily driver with a good tune up and sheet metal change. I can ship but i am sure it will be a little expensive.

The big four door was heavily camouflaged at rainy O'Hare Airport, but we can definitely see the winged Genesis logo on the wheels and the interior is Hyundai all the way. The front end looks blockier than the outgoing model, similar to the HCD-14 concept we saw at the Detroit auto show.
