Beetle Window Vent trims
Really cool accessory that was originally offered from the 1950's for our beloved vintage VW's by a company called Regus , now nicely reproduced be AAC from England. Made just as the originals in aluminium and then chromed. Really simple to fit, just wind your window down, slide the trim up to the top and that's it! Gives extra ventilation when driving but also means your car is secure when parked up whilst still having the ventilation. One of the coolest accessories around. Please note these will fit all beetles from 1965 onwards. If you have the smaller side windows as on pre 1964 cars then these are not suitable. But now they’re having another crack at eco-cars with the BMW ActiveHybrid 5, a hybrid version of the latest 5-Series. The ActiveHybrid 5 gets a 302bhp twin-turbo six-cylinder in-line petrol – a good start – and throws in to the mix a 53bhp electric motor.
Fuel protests halt Spanish car production

Last week's truck blockades and fuel depot pickets in Madrid caused car plants around the country to cut production. Seat, Citroen Peugeot, Ford, Nissan, Renault and Mercedes-Benz all have factories in Spain and most said they were affected.Seat production slashed by 40 percentSeat said its main Martorell plant was operating at 40 percent capacity, with production of the Leon and Altea models severely affected. However, the protests won’t delay sales of the new Ibiza, a spokesman promised, and assembly of cars in the factory is expected to return to normal this week.
Honda's future plans cut Acura TSX platform
Mon, 03 Jun 2013The future of Acura's TSX appears uncertain as Honda Motor prepares to abandon the platform used for the compact sedan. Acura boss Jeff Conrad says the TSX will remain in the lineup "for the foreseeable future." But when Acura moved into the entry-luxury segment with the ILX last year it jammed up its sedan lineup -- both in terms of vehicle sizes and pricing ladders. The ILX and aging TSX are positioned close to each other, as are the TSX and mid-sized TL.
