Syd Mead's 'Progressions' exhibition featured on CarArt.us
Thu, 09 Jan 2014CarArt.us, the largest online automotive art gallery, is featuring art from world-renowned futurist Syd Mead's 50-piece ‘Progressions' exhibit, a retrospective spanning more than 50 years. Mead's work is shown in chronological order, starting from 1957's Bugatti concept and tracking his progression all the way up to 2010's Megacoach. Highly influential futurist Mead graduated with distinction from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles in 1959, beginning his career at Ford's Advanced Styling Studio in Dearborn, Michigan, before establishing Syd Mead, Inc.
UPDATE: Jack Roush, injured in plane crash, transferred to Mayo Clinic
Thu, 29 Jul 2010Jack Roush was transferred on Wednesday evening to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., to receive treatment for facial injures sustained in a plane crash, his company said. Roush, 68, is co-owner of Roush-Fenway Racing and chairman of Roush Enterprises, a supplier most famous for customizing Ford Mustangs. He crashed his plane during landing on Tuesday at an airport in Oshkosh, Wis.

Due to be released in spring next year in North America, the RS produces 415PS from its naturally-aspirated 3.6l flat-six, enough for a 0-62mph time of 4.2 seconds. Power is sent through the rear wheels only, whose surrounding shoulders widen by 43mm to accommodate the extra track.
