Infiniti to overhaul model naming for 2014
Tue, 18 Dec 2012Infiniti will ditch its current badging strategy in 2014, opting instead to carry a 'Q' or 'QX' prefix on all models. The first car to get the name-swap will be the Q50, an all-new Audi A4-style sports saloon that arrives in January 2013 to replace the G37. How does today's Inifiniti range shape up?
Chrysler Ypsilon now on sale in the UK – Prices & Specs
Sat, 01 Oct 2011Chrysler Ypsilon - UK prices and details As part of Fiat’s efforts to integrate its range with its new toy – Chrysler – we are now getting Chrysler-badged Lancias in the UK, in this case Lancia’s stretched Fiat 500/Panda – the Chrysler Ypsilon. The Chrysler Ypsilon is the first new Lancia – in all but name – to get to the UK since Lancia gave up on the UK market after we got fed up with Lancias falling apart back in 1993. But as we’ve taken to the Fiat 500 in droves, there’s a decent chance the UK will take to the grown-up 500 in the guise of the stretched Chrysler Ypsilon with its extra room.
Ferrari 612 Shooting Brake NOT the new 612
Thu, 06 Jan 2011Ferrari 612 Shooting Brake Spy shot Last week we ran a story about the replacement for Ferrari’s four-seat supercar, the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. The basic premise was that Ferrari would be bringing the replacement for the 612 Scaglietti to the Geneva Motor Show in March, and that it would feature a new, 650bhp V12 engine, and 4×4 platform and be a Shooting Brake. All of which was a cobbling together from bits of information we’ve received when we started to dig around for information after Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo recently said there will be a “very different Ferrari” at Geneva.
