Fri, 21 Apr 2006Located in one of Europe's most fashionable cities, the Italian design fair is in its 45th year, newly housed in 'Fieramilano' west of the city centre. That the venue effectively disperses crowds knotted on the underground says something about its size and the somewhat compromised transport infrastructure that has to handle the 200,000 show-goers that come in from across the world. Beneath architect Massimiliano Fuksas' sprawling structure nestle 24 considerable arenas, FTK Salon Satellite to the side.

Mon, 09 Dec 2013The 2014 SsangYong Korando (pictured) gets a facelift SsangYong have been on a bit of a mission to place the Korando as a perfect budget offering in the burgeoning Compact SUV market since it arrived in 2011. We’ve had the Korando SX arrive last year to tempt more buyers in, and a £1 million advertising campaign (focused on ‘economically challenged’ areas of the UK) to raise awareness, and now we get a facelift for 2014 to make the Korando more appealing. The facelift means a new grill, new headlights with LED driving lights, bigger air intake at the front, new lights at the back, new colours – Sunrise red, Cosmic blue and Carbonic grey - and some new wheels designs.
Lingenfelter offers look at car collection
Fri, 17 Jun 2011Michiganders don't have to wait for the Woodward Dream Cruise to see an epic car collection in their home state. Car collector Ken Lingenfelter, cousin of the renowned NHRA racer John Lingenfelter, is opening his private garage--er, warehouse--to the public this Saturday. For $15, guests can see Ken Lingenfelter's collection of more than 150 vehicles, with proceeds going to the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology.
