2011 Peugeot 508: Paris Motor Show 2010
Sat, 02 Oct 2010Peugeo 508 Paris Well, you wouldn’t expect Peugeot to forget to bring along their replacement for the Peugeot 407 (not to mention the ‘Only sells in France’ 607) to their home motor show, so the Peugeot stand got not just the saloon version of the new Peugeot 508 but a 508 Estate too. We already know that Peugeot is going to throw almost every engine – petrol and diesel – it has in its arsenal at the 508. so you’ll be able to grab a 508 with anything from a 1.6 litre e-HDi FAP to a 2.2 litre HDi FAP 204bhp.
New Mercedes V-Class MPV revealed
Fri, 31 Jan 2014The new Mercedes V-Class MPV (pictured) offers a more car-like experience The new Mercedes V-Class is the replacement for the Mercedes Viano, and Mercedes hope potential buyers will view it as a luxury MPV with proper Mercedes passenger car appeal but with room for up to eight passengers. It seems likely Mercedes are also hoping the new V-Class will attract former buyers of the now defunct R-Class, families who’ve outgrown a family car and business users too. If you can get over looks that still say ‘Van with Windows’ despite a complete makeover from the Viano (although the Viano Vision Diamond offered a very upmarket look and fittings), Mercedes should be in with a fighting chance of hitting the mark with the new V-Class.
