Car Insurance ‘Black Box’ a good idea? We find out.
Sun, 30 Dec 2012We’ve been testing a new ‘Telematics’ App from Confused.com which mimics the ‘Black Box’ technology insurers are offering in an attempt to make car insurance cheaper. The inexorable rise and rise of car insurance premiums is a fact of life, and will continue until government gets a handle on ambulance-chasing lawyers and the UK’s idiotic whiplash claims industry. VW’s Banned TV Commercial
Wed, 19 Nov 2008Apparently, this ad got banned from TV in the UK. I suppose you can see why, but if it doesn’t make you at least smile, if not laugh out loud, then you must have had a sense of humour by-pass! It always seems strange what gets a ban and what doesn’t.
Toyota leaves F1
Wed, 04 Nov 2009Toyota are quitting F1 It’s not exactly a huge surprise, but Toyota has announced today that they are leaving Formula One and will not be back in 2010 to take their place. With the announcement that Bridgestone are also quitting F1 after 2010, and the departure of Honda before the 2009 season started, there is going to be no Japanese involvement in F1. Which is rather sad for a nation that loves its cars.
