This is a set of Kolbenshmidt German NOS Volkswagen Air Cooler 1200cc, 1300cc, 1500cc, & 1600cc and all the engines bored out from 1600cc. This is a set Standard Outside & .020 undersize on the crankshaft Main Bearings. These are made in Brazil by Mahle and are the Original Equipment Supplier to VW. They fit from 1961-1980 Air Cooled engines as in Type 1 Bug, Type 2 Bus 1961-1971, Type 3 Fastback & Squareback. VW Thing, Karman Ghia 1961-1974. These are the good old style Steel backed bearings before Mahle replaced them with an aluminum split main bearing.

2014 Acura MDX gets new platform, FWD option

Acura gave us the full rundown of the 2014 MDX SUV on Wednesday. The seven-passenger people-mover goes on sale tomorrow, and for the first time includes a base front-wheel-drive version which stickers at $43,185. The Acura MDX has a new platform for 2014 that's lower and narrower, but with a 2.8-inch longer wheelbase.

BMW is continuing to build up the hype ahead of the launch of its next M car – this is a teaser video giving us our first glimpse of the undisguised BMW 1-series M Coupe What’s new is our first look at this hot 1-series’ butch bodykit, complete with an engorged front bumper and triple air intakes. There are CSL-alike 19-inch wheels too, and sitting between the cross-drilled front discs is a twin-turbo 3.0-litre straight-six, producing 335bhp and 369lb ft. Drive, thankfully, goes to just the rear wheels, and they’ll be a choice of either a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. There’ll be an M diff too, but we hear it might be on the options list as BMW’s money men fight to keep the list price under £40k.

Lots of people haven't bought a Bugatti Veyron for many reasons - chiefly cost - but for the few who found the Bugatti supercar too slow, this is the answer: the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, aka the World's Fastest Car. Whereas previous limited-edition Veyrons such as the all-black Sang Noir made do with cosmetic changes, the Super Sport Bugatti has done a lot more than just give it a new lick of paint. Out go the large overhead air scoops, replaced by deep air ducts.
