New deep blue panel set, minus some pieces, for VW bus, model years 1968-1970. These were made by TMI (http://www.tmiproducts.com/volkswagen/) (Part# TMI 10-2126-18). Comes with door panel clips ($25 worth). These panels have never been installed. Still in new condition. $800 new for whole 11-piece set. There are 7 panels remaining. The bus is no longer with us, but these panels still are.

I was not the owner of the bus, so I won't be able to answer specific questions. It is my understanding that four pieces of the original set are missing. I don't know which specific pieces, but it seems as though the front doors may be part of what's missing.

Texting with logistical inquiries would be more effective than email: 2o6-6o5-5385. If you are local to Seattle, even better.

Payment expected within 2 days of auction end. The box for these panels is considered oversize by all carriers, so shipping will be $115 (I may still lose money on this). If you're withing driving distance of Seattle, local pick-up would likely be cheaper.

The DS3 is based on the new Citroen C3 – which will itself only be launched in November – and is slightly larger all round than the MINI.

Concept Car of the Week: Bertone Alfa Romeo Carabo

Fri, 12 Jul 2013

It might sound unbelievable today, but despite its racing pedigree and a voluptuous body designed by Franco Scaglione, Alfa Romeo was struggling to sell the outstanding 33 Stradale. Its heavy price tag was far above that of a Lamborghini Miura and also 120hp less powerful. By 1969, production was discontinued and only 18 examples had been made.
