This is a new UNIVERSAL gear shift knob with a beautiful acrylic type LOGO. It comes with three adaptor sleaves, allen wrench and allen screws for easy installation. It measures approx 2 1/2" x 2". The top 1/2" is satin finish, the next 3/4" is highly polished and the bottom is satin. It is heavy high quanlity shift knob. New McLaren F1 to get 1000 bhp – private reveal at Pebble Beach
Wed, 25 Jul 2012The new McLaren F1 – McLaren P12 Project – will be revealed to private clients at Pebble Beach next month and gets 1,000bhp. McLaren’s successor to the iconic McLaren F1 is nearly upon us, and according to a McLaren owner we’ve spoken to it looks set to be revealed privately at Pebble Beach next month prior to a public debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. According to our source, McLaren already has at least two complete cars to show and has shown the new F1 – which may be the McLaren 799 – to a number of wealthy McLaren clients already.

When the new Mercedes A Class was revealed at Geneva last week we got plenty of news about what the cracking new A Class has to offer, including the news that there would be a Mercedes first with the new A Class – a 99g/km option. At the time Mercedes gave us no detail, but its now appears that they are going to use a Renault-sourced 1.5 litre diesel as the basis for the new A Class Eco version – suitably Mercedes sorted.

Sun, 25 Apr 2010Part 2 of our review of the 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV6 Land Rover has had a thorough play with their range for 2010, a big part of which has been shoehorning in the latest lumps from Jaguar. The Range Rover Sport now comes with the 5.0 litre S/C engine from the XFR and the rather wheezy 2.7 litre diesel is swapped for the much livelier 3.0 litre from the XF. Not the 3.0 litre from the XF diesel S, mind you – that would have trampled all over the 3.6 TDV8 – but the slightly more pedestrian version with 242bhp.
