Here's a dual port exhaust manifold that was removed from a Volvo 1800 with B20 engine. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that this was part of an integrated manifold from an earlier 1800, where the exhaust manifold and intake manifold were cast as one unit. As I did myself on an 1800 that received a Weber conversion, I took one of these integrated manifolds and simply cut off the intake manifold, and used the exhaust side, with great success. I suspect that the fuel injected car this manifold came off of may have had a cracked intake manifold, and since it was fuel injected, it didn't need the intake part of the unit. Thus, I'm guessing they cut that part off and used this exhaust side. Sorry for the long-winded explanation. Please examine the photos for the cosmetic condition of the piece. Structurally it looks OK. |

First Sight: Twin’Z: Renault x Ross Lovegrove

Car Design News spoke exclusively to its technical project manager Minh Au Truong and design superstar collaborator Ross Lovegrove to find out more about this much-hyped vehicle. When the news leaked that Renault would be teaming up with product design royalty Ross Lovegrove on a concept car to be revealed at Milan Design Week, to say this reviewer and the staff at Car Design News HQ were "a bit excited" would probably be an understatement.

It's an important car for GM, expected to take up to 20% of all Astra orders, and the UK is traditionally the biggest market in Europe for the three-door Astra. Honda CR-Z at Detroit motor show 2010

The styling is inspired by the old CRX, but under the skin the CR-Z is pure 21st century hybrid. Featuring a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 108bhp and 71lb ft torque, the CR-Z produces 122bhp and 128lb ft in total thanks to the boost provided by its IMA parallel hybrid system.
