This parts catalogue is a must for the Volvo 1800 enthusiasts.  The parts catalogue is the original catalogue used and produced by Volvo Car Corporation without copyright.  The catalogue has been developed for the B18 powered P1800 (180) for years 1963 through 1968.

This catalogue has been paired down to include "English" in the written text along with Swedish.  Some pages have been "cleaned up" utilizing photo software to improve resolution and quality.  German, French and Italian have been eliminated, redundant illustrations deleted and pages placed in the proper order to increase the users speed in locating the proper part number relative to the P1800 model he or she requires part information.

The catalogue is an Adobe Reader File (pdf) and can be printed on 8 1/2" x 11" paper with the use of FREE Adobe Reader software, available to anyone on the web.  You can print one page, a few or all as you desire.  It will be provided to each buyer on CD ROM.

The catalogue has a total of 17 sections, 461 pages and 144 illustrations.  It is a must to those who want to identify proper part numbers and glean an understanding of the components of the P1800.

The wining bid amount for the catalogue covers the time and effort to develop the pdf files and to burn the CD ROM and time to arrange packaging and shipment only.  We do not infer in any way that payment is for the original document and we are in no way associated with Volvo Car Corporation.  We have a P 1800 and love it.  We wanted to share, without expense to ourselves, this fantastic information.

Good luck and

Enjoy the Drive ;)

(P.S.  The low res image included in this listing reads well in the actual pdf. It is one of the over 140 illustrations included!  This is not an 8 page, single illustration document. It has every component published by Volvo Car Corporation. It has never failed me when trying to identify a part number or evision a component assembly.)

Honda celebrates 50 years in America

Thu, 11 Jun 2009

Honda is 50 years old today, and much of its early success is the result of a series of brave, bold decisions acted upon by smart engineers-turned-executives. That and dumb luck. But we'll get to the dumb luck later.

This teaser picture has surfaced online, suggesting a full-on makeover, showing off go-faster stripes and Cosworth branding to give the Evoque a sporty edge. Kahn is rumoured to be working on Ford's 2.0-litre EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which has plenty of scope for tuning. The Blue Oval produces a maximum of 240bhp in its current applications.  Alex Yeung of Kahn Designs confirmed the project to CAR.

Lingenfelter Retrokit turns today's Camaro into classic RS

Fri, 26 Oct 2012

Ken Lingenfelter knows retro. When the fifth-generation Chevy Camaro came out in 2009, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering quickly designed and built a retro Trans-Am kit to transform the Camaro into a modern-day TA. Now, he's taking the WABAC machine even further to create Retrokits that make the new ponycar look like a 1969 Camaro RS.
