FUSE PANEL COVER

Up for auction is an original Volvo 240 series fuse panel cover in dark brown! And yes, it has the locking knob! This color was rare!  It is in great condition. The fuse location sticker shows signs of its age and has begun to crack apart and I have placed clear tape over it to preserve it as best I can. This does not affect the function of the panel.  It is used, but has minimal signs of wear aside from the sticker.  This is the original real deal Volvo part and not some fake reproduction.

Please refer to the photos for more detail as this is the actual item for sale.

Autoweek in review: What you may have missed

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

Rain fell all week at One Autoweek Tower, and the breaking news didn't let up, either. Things started out busy enough on Monday with Bugatti losing its top-speed record and the trailer of Ron Howard's new film, “Rush,” hitting the Web. On Tuesday we paid homage to Distracted Driving month by recounting the touching story of a Kansas State Trooper who has witnessed a variety of tragic scenes -- many resulting from distracted driving.

Cameras to catch illegal parking on the school run

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

Schools and councils across the country are turning to CCTV to enforce parking restrictions during the school run – and a new low-cost camera system is set to make this even easier in the coming months. According to reports in the Sunday Times and the Daily Mail, the new surveillance system costs as little as £16,000, and is able to record and recognise the number plates of illegally parked cars outside schools. On Bing: see pictures of parking enforcement cameras How to appeal a parking ticket The recorded footage is then sent to the local council, including evidence of the parking restriction.

GPS signals trump cellular in FCC battle

Tue, 28 Feb 2012

Bandwidth has become a precious commodity. Just ask any owner of a car that has an analog OnStar system that wound up being a useless brick when digital cellular signals were declared to be the only game in town. LightSquared, a company that grew out of the satellite-communications industry, is banking that the chunk of spectrum it holds the rights to will help smaller, regional competitors compete with the big wireless providers.
