Listing is for one OEM brown passenger side map pocket for Volvo 240 models. Includes all original mounting screws & tabs. Pocket had a small crack along the top but has been professionally repaired with fiberglass. Please see pictures for details. There is some minor scuffing which I have shown but otherwise pocket is very clean & ready to install.

Singapore billionaire Peter Lim invests in McLaren Automotive

Singapore billionaire Peter Lim has invested in McLaren Automotive and has taken a spot on the board of directors along with Ron Dennis, Mansour Ojjeh and the Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Co., McLaren said on Friday. The company declined to reveal the amount of the investment, but privately held McLaren said it is a “significant amount.” More details of the deal will be announced closer to the Singapore Grand Prix. Lim is ranked as the eighth-richest businessperson in Singapore, according to Forbes, and he owns a chain of Manchester United-themed restaurants and bars in Asia.

Designer Tom Matano part of start-up car company in Louisiana

A new auto company backed by Texas billionaire investor T. Boone Pickens and staffed by former Mazda design chief Tom Matano plans to build "environmentally friendly" vehicles in Louisiana. V-Vehicle Co., of San Diego, will bring about 1,400 workers to a Monroe plant that once belonged to General Motors, according to a statement Wednesday from the Louisiana Economic Development Web site.
