Ashtray taken from the back of the between-front-seats console of a 1989 Volvo 245. As far as I know -- and judging from the several 240s I have owned -- this was a standard 240 item for many years. The underlying black color of the plastic is showing through on the front top of the ashtray, presumably because it has been often opened -- a pull on that top edge with the fingers is how it is opened. Some other black spots are visible. But the white area showing in the photo is not visible to the eye.

VAT-free Alto offer extended

The deal effectively takes £1,200 off the list price of the entry-level Alto SZ. Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo concept (2012)

We hear that we won’t see a Sport Turismo version of the current Panamera, but this concept instead previews the facelift treatment that will be applied to Porsche’s four-door saloon as part of a mid-life refresh in 2013. And beyond that the Sport Turismo showcases a second bodystyle than will join the range when the Mk2 Panamera appears in late 2015.
Honda Vezel crossover arrives at the Tokyo motor show
Wed, 20 Nov 2013For the record, Vezel rhymes with "bezel," and it's the name of Honda's long suspected Fit-based crossover. Honda showed off the new Vezel hybrid model at the Tokyo motor show, though the production model set to launch in Japan in December will also be available with a straight-gasoline 1.5-liter direct-injected engine also. Other details are still slim, but the company did claim a "Sport Hybrid i-DCD" powertrain will get a stronger engine and most likely a dual-clutch transmission with integrated electric motor.
