Certain items are difficult to date precisely or attribute to geographic areas. Seller makes a reasonable effort to give best judgment as to age, origin and other factors based upon available information. Condition is stated conservatively and reasonable effort is made to describe the item and positive/negative factors considered in conjunction with photos provided. An antique or "vintage" item is not new, and is used and old, to varying degrees. Buyer should expect such items within a range of tolerance for age, use, materials and type based upon a common experience in dealing with such things and with the item description in mind. If there is a particular condition issue Buyer is concerned with which has not been addressed to satisfaction in listing or photos, please ask about it before bidding!

Swords or other edged weapons are sold as antiques or collectibles and for no other purpose whatsoever. By bidding on any such items, Buyer is affirmatively stating that buyer is of legal age and capacity to own such piece where domiciled and that jurisdiction to which shipping is directed does not prohibit importation or possession of such item(s). Buyer is soley responsible to make such inquiry prior to bid and satisfy him/herself that such purchase/importation is legal and not prohibited by their Customs authorities, other legal or administrative body, law or code.

PAYMENT: 

You'll receive an eBay invoice when auction ends. Please wait to send payment until your invoice is received, as your premature payment may not be sufficient for shipping costs.  PayPal purchase-payments will ship only to the stated PayPal registered address.

Payment is due within three (3) calendar days after auction ends, please.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING:

Shipping costs are calculated when auction has ended and item actually packed.  All shipping (domestic or International) will have added delivery confirmation or other tracking as required by Ebay/PayPal. 

The eBay shipping calculator may not be accurate and is, at most, an estimate of base shipping costs.

Where a flat rate is stated, that is the total shipping charge for domestic mail.

Books will ship Media Mail with delivery confirmation in the US, unless you request faster mail.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:  We always state correct bid-purchase values and information on US Customs Declarations Forms. International shipments will ship by US Global Express Mail with tracking (unless size restrictions prohibit),  insured to full value with tracking or return receipt.  This is required due to PayPal/Ebay requirements. International buyers are responsible for any duties, charges, taxes or fees payable at their Customs border.

International buyers should be aware that Global Express International shipping costs are expensive. Items are packed carefully and as light as possible with aim to protect the item from damage in transit.  The size of the packed item may add to shipping costs as determined by the U.S. Post size/fee schedule. Shippers and certain countries have limits on shipping size or excess charges for "oversized" large packages. Buyer should be aware of these limitations before bidding. International buyers bear the risk of loss once the item is dispatched by Seller. Seller will not be responsible for foreign postal delivery issues or malfeasance or Customs events, such as impoundment. International buyers must determine whether there is any importation restriction in their receiving country for the item considered for purchase, before bidding (e.g.swords, militaria items, for example).  Buyers should be aware that the cost of registered mail or other delivery tracking for items costing in excess of $20.00, may add significantly to the cost of shipping from US, example: Global Express Mail.
