Condition:New Country/Region of Manufacture:China

Please note: This is not an "IPD" branded item, but rather a high quality product that is somewhat similar to IPD's old school "variable" adjustable cam gear no longer in production.

Hard anodized for long life and durability, this adjustable cam gear will provides increased performance for your Volvo B230FT, B230, B23, or B21 engines from 1976-1992.  Weighs less than the factory gear and it is easily adjustable either advance or retarded by loosening the locking bolts and lining up the desired inscribed timing mark. This should not be confused with ignition timing.  By advancing the gear you will gain low end power at the expense of upper range power and by retarding the gear you will gain upper range power with a link reduction in low end power.  This gear provides the widest range of adjustment from high RPM turning race engines to the big bore non turbo motors with lots of low end grunt, a perfect match for use with your performance or stock cam.

IPD's retail price for their "fixed" non-variable adjustable gear is $109.95 plus shipping ($11.00 or more).
