Volvo Factory Original B-18 & B-20 Oil Pump #430111.fits All 122s &140s. Nice on 2040-parts.com
Wiscasset, Maine, United States
This oil pump is an original VOLVO factory pump as used in all B-20s from 1969 through 1975. Part # 430111. The newer number is #1218706. When the B-18 pumps were discontinued, this pump was sold by VOLVO to be also used in the B-18 engines. and of course, the B-20s. If a B-18 engine has the original oil pan, then a small notch has to be made in the baffle of the pan to give clearance for a casting ridge. The B-20 pump is approximately 3/4" deeper than the B-18 pump and as mentioned, the casting ridge touches the edge of the baffle. A 20 second modification with a grinder. This pump is in excellent condition. NOTE-As with all of the oil pumps that I have listed, I personally worked on the cars that the pumps were taken from and I selected to keep certain pumps that were in excellent mechanical condition. This pump has been on a shelf for over 30 years in proper storage conditions.
