BMW recalls 2002-05 3-series for light defect
Thu, 01 Sep 2011BMW is recalling 241,000 copies of the 3-series in the United States to fix a rear light defect that could lead to crashes. The problem affects rear lights--taillights, brake lights and turn signals--which may only work intermittently. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the recall covers model years 2002 to 2005 of the 325i, the 325xi, the 330i and the 330xi.
Rear-end collisions increasing, says study

Rear-end shunts – when one car drives into the back of another – have risen by 7% in the last three years as a proportion of all accidents. Renault inaugurates Global Design Studio in Mumbai
