Jeep future products: Fiat platforms to underpin 3 vehicles

In the next three years, Jeep will extend its lineup with a new subcompact and a revived Grand Wagoneer. It will also build three vehicles on Fiat platforms. Despite the significant model changes, Jeep will strive to remain true to its off-road heritage.

GMC Granite concept (w/ Video)

The biggest surprise at the 2010 NAIAS was GMC's Granite concept - a design that expands (or rather contracts) the truck/crossover brand's 'professional grade' philosophy to a compact hatchback aimed at urban hipsters and early adopters. Conceived by Frank Saucedo's Advanced Design team in California and then built at GM's Design Center in Detroit, the Granite combines the basic proportions of the Nissan Cube and Scion xB with a military/industrial feel inspired by the current G-Star and Diesel fashion lines. Lexus SEMA 2010 I think we’re going to stop trying to work out what Lexus is all about. Just when we think we have them pegged down as green halo, fluffy-bunny-loving corporate eco-mentalists with a misguided view of the future of the car, they go and produce the LFA. We put the LFA’s existence down to its long gestation period; there is no way Lexus would embark on such a project today.
