Subaru Cross Sport Design and Viziv Evolution concepts at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013

Subaru showed two other concepts alongside the Levorg at the Tokyo Motor Show – both of which are interesting, neither of which came with very much information. The Subaru Viziv Evolution proposes a three-motor hybrid all-wheel drive system, similar to that under development by Honda, while the Subaru Cross Sport Design concept appears to be nothing less than a shooting brake estate version of the BRZ. Infiniti reveals hood of the JX crossover

The slow reveal of the Infiniti JX crossover ahead of its debuts at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August and the Los Angeles auto show in November continued on Thursday with a photo showing the seven-seat crossover's hood and grille. Infiniti plans to put the JX on sale in early 2012. The crossover will be built at Nissan's plant in Smyrna, Tenn., and will share its platform with the Nissan Altima, Maxima and Murano.

Christopher Svensson appointed Director of Design, Ford Asia Pacific and Africa

Christopher Svensson has recently been appointed as Director of Design, Ford Asia Pacific and Africa. He takes over the role from Scott Strong. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Svensson and his team will be designing products not only for the local regions but also global vehicles in competition with Ford's studios in Europe and North America.
