Came from a mid 80's boat, most of these parts interchange. I have many volvo penta parts on hand so if you don't see what your looking for in my other auctions, just ask. This listing is for the reverse lock thrust sleeve or push sleeve in great condition and will fit most all of the 250, 270, 275, 280, 285 and some early 290 Volvo outdrives from early 70's years thru late 80's.
These sleeves have been cleaned and inspected, all are perfectly straight with perfect threads. Note: when installing, make sure your sleeve height is correct and the jam nut is tightened to it. Incorrect push sleeve height will either not unlock the out drive or damage the push sleeve. Normal price is $32 each, Your price $18.99 with $2.50 domestic shipping. Approved mechanics essential for quality service
Wed, 27 Nov 2013DRIVERS need to make sure their car is being properly serviced by a qualified mechanic, says the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI). To help drives do this, it has launched a government-backed scheme called the Professional Register. While there are around 175,000 people in the UK who call themselves automotive technicians, the IMI says it can only recommend around 27,000 as having the required skills and competence to carry out work to the required standard in their specialism.
