Volvo Penta 290 Sp/dp Suspension Fork W/ Exhaust Mid Housing, Ect. Early Style on 2040-parts.com
Bremerton, Washington, United States
I am parting out a 1988 19' Sunrunner boat because of engine issues and cosmetic issues inside boat. Up for sale here is the Volvo Penta 290 suspension fork ( H bracket ) complete with mid exhaust housing with reverse lock, and trim cylinder mounting bracket. This is in good usable condition and only has a little pitting around top of water tube where the water hose bid bolts down, but it is not that bad and will still seal up just fine,I just thought I better mention it.Also I had to drill out one of the bolts ( head of allen bolt ) that connects the mid housing with the lower unit but it just made hole a little bit larger where the top of the allen head screw is recessed down into, otherwise just fine and still has the original paint, and has not been touched up. I installed 2 new pivot pin nylon bushings in suspension fork. Should work on other model year early style 290 outdrives with trim as well. Will need a new water hose bib since one is not included ( screws and gasket are though ) Shipping costs are for the lower 48 US states, Please email for Hawaii and Alaska, and other areas. Thank-you for looking!

Suzuki XA Alpha concept
Mon, 16 Jan 2012The XA Alpha concept 2012 was unveiled at the New Dehli Auto Expo by Suzuki and its Indian collaborator, Maruti. Although little information has been released, rumors circling the show floor suggest that it is underpinned by the Swift platform. Similar in size to Nissan's Juke, the XA Alpha is pitched at India's youth market, although the show car's suicide doors and highly detailed lamp graphics are unlikely to reach showrooms.
Caterham creates next car online
Wed, 05 Nov 2008By Ben Whitworth Motor Industry 05 November 2008 10:08 Caterham has turned to cyberspace to design its next model – the low-volume carmaker is calling on fans around the world to log onto a bespoke website to submit their ideas and designs for every aspect of the new Caterham, before ultimately voting on what makes it to the final vehicle. The website – www.splitwheel.com - will act as a forum, hosting blogs, articles and what Caterham calls ‘a Wikipedia-style user-edited knowledge base’ to turn user input into a workable vehicle design. A comprehensive voting system that covers all aspects of the car will then be initiated, and once the final specification is agreed a prototype will be produced with initial production slated for 2011.
