Condition:New

This is a special made after market part that improves the shift cycle on all AQ series upper gears that use the brass split ring container.  Volvo Penta part no 897313.  Picture 1 right side.  It is made of brass and is soft compared to the steel one on the left.  Pictures 4& 5 show worn out ones that can result in picture nos 3 & 6.   Don't let this happen to you!  Do not reuse this old brass part ever!

Failure of this part has resulted in serious damage to other parts in the transmission. As illustrated in pictures.  It is only good for so many shift cycles and it needs to be replaced before other things happen.  Your first indication may be the failure of drive to shift into gear and it will only get worse from there.

I had 45 made for this order and they are not available anywhere else.

Free shipping is USA only!

Note: Many of theses units are now out of production by Volvo.  The price will go up as stock becomes harder to finxd.

Now in its eighth year, this time the race also commemorated the 80th anniversary of the first of the original series.

Wed, 01 Jun 2011

U.S. light vehicle sales dropped 4 percent in May--the first decline since August--as rising gas prices, inventory shortages, higher stickers and economic jitters curbed demand. The pace of sales last month--11.78 million units on an annualized basis--was the year's lowest and marked the first seasonally adjusted total below 12 million units in seven months.
