 Complete Volvo 4 Cylinder AD31.

I just bought this boat to convert to outboards. Motor looks clean and has been maintained. Engine ran fine, it was put away for a few years but now it will not turn over. Motor is stuck. Previous owner did not want to invest into inspecting for the problem and I decided to buy the boat as-is since I already planned on an outboard conversion. Starter motor is burnt and motor will not move when I put a wrench to the main crank bolt. The engine oil is clean as you can see in the photo and coolant is ok.

I am in the middle of getting the injectors out so I can inspect the cylinders. I rather sell the complete motor rather than parting it out. I will update this listing with any new info.

I can pallet the motor for shipping. Motor is for sale locally so I may end this auction early.

Tue, 29 Apr 2014

Once again, the hinges of the Hell Garage gates -- lubricated with the purest Unobtainium-239 -- creak open and bring us to another installment of Project Car Hell. Last week, we offered two options for your eternal torment, a straight-8 Packard and a straight-8 Buick, and we just love those classic Detroit cars! So much so, in fact, that we're going to stick with Detroit (well, Detroit and Kenosha, if you want to split hairs) and fast-forward the calendar a couple of decades to the Golden Age of Muscle Cars.
