These parts came from a late 80's boat with the 4 cylinder  Volvo Penta engine.   I have many volvo penta parts on hand so if you don't see what your looking for in my other auctions, just ask.   This listing is for the flex plate as shown which is in very good condition.  This is a 21 hole plate, which is the most universal fitting most all the 4 cylinder engines from the mid 70's to the late 80's including the AQ171.  # 855389  If shipping is out of the country, email me for rate, unless it's already posted.  I do combine shipping and again, be sure to check out my other auctions for more Volvo Penta parts.  

 

Electric cars to be powered by AA-style batteries

A NEW COMPANY is claiming its new design of battery could see future electric cars powered by batteries no bigger than the current AA size. LipraLoof Techologies Ltd, a new start-up, has teamed up with City Car Club to trial the new technology in its fleet of vehicles. The new batteries use a complex mix of metal hydrates to create a quad, or 4A battery, which produces far more power than a standard battery.

Honda Performance Development on May 21 won the 45th-annual Louis Schwitzer Award for motorsports engineering innovation and excellence in recognition of the Honda Refueling Safety Interlock System. The system, which reduces the potential for fires in pit lane when refueling, was created by a team at HPD led by Roger Griffiths, Jim Goodloe, Marco Martinelli and Robert Bell. The key part of the system is an electronic fuel-probe sensor installed on an Indy-car's inlet valve into which ethanol fuel flows.
