Upper portion of 1.78 gear ratio DP-SM Volvo outdrive.
I was told this was a 2004 model. I bought the entire outdrive to replace my 2003 lower unit and do not need the upper portion. The lower unit is currently installed on my boat and running great. I am not sure about the history or condition of this unit but it appears very clean. |

In fact, it’s a new car that looks more like an evolution of the 2002 XC90 than a cutting-edge new model. But that’s probably being a bit churlish as the new XC90 certainly offers lots of new tech, new engines and a raft of technology that makes the new XC90 very cutting-edge.

Fri, 31 Jan 2014The new Mercedes V-Class MPV (pictured) offers a more car-like experience The new Mercedes V-Class is the replacement for the Mercedes Viano, and Mercedes hope potential buyers will view it as a luxury MPV with proper Mercedes passenger car appeal but with room for up to eight passengers. It seems likely Mercedes are also hoping the new V-Class will attract former buyers of the now defunct R-Class, families who’ve outgrown a family car and business users too. If you can get over looks that still say ‘Van with Windows’ despite a complete makeover from the Viano (although the Viano Vision Diamond offered a very upmarket look and fittings), Mercedes should be in with a fighting chance of hitting the mark with the new V-Class.

In fact so good is the DS3 we gave it our ‘Best Car when you have to pay for it yourself Award’ in our round-up of the best cars of 2010. For a car based on the dreary – if competent – Citroen C3, the DS3 is a revelation.
